Summer Support for Neurodivergent Kids (Yes, in February!)

Hi Reader!

I know—it feels early to talk about summer, but if you have a highly sensitive or neurodivergent kid, you probably know that summer doesn't just "fall into place." The shift in routine, new environments, and unstructured time can be tough. Plus, traditional summer camps can be really really hard for some of our kids, and to be honest, it's just not fair! All kids should be able to have a summer-camp type experience that is fun, social, and even therapeutic. That’s why I’m so excited about what we’re offering this summer:

🎵 Music Therapy Summer Camp (led by our incredible Music Therapist) – A space for kids to connect, express, and regulate through music in a supportive, sensory-friendly environment.

🥕 Feeding Therapy Intensive (hosted by Thrive Outside’s Rylie Fikes, OTR/L) – A gentle, play-based approach for kids 5-8 who struggle with picky or restrictive eating, helping them build confidence and curiosity around food.

🌻Thrive Outside Groups: The Real Work's sister company will offer its signature OT social groups throughout Portland. Link below--Spring groups are open for registration and spots are filling quickly.

We’re keeping groups small and specialized, so if you’re even thinking about summer support, hit reply and tell me what you are hoping for, or Click Here to get more details when they are released!

Wishing you a February filled with small wins and warm drinks
